    • Set the billing address. For more information, refer to Billing Address.
    • Complete the required real-name authentication. For more information, refer to Real-name Authentication.

Operations

  1. 1. Log in to the Cloud Server Console.
    2. In the left navigation tree, select "Servers" to jump to the cloud server list page. Then click "New".
  1. 3. Jump to the Cloud Server Purchase page. Then, configure the following information according to the page prompts.
Configuration parameters Configuration instructions
Region
  • Region: It is recommended to choose the region closest to your customer, which can reduce access delay and improve access speed.
  • Available area: If you need to purchase multiple cloud servers, it is recommended to choose different available areas to achieve disaster tolerance.
For more information, please refer to Regions and Available Areas.
Billing mode
  • Pay-as-you-go billing: Postpaid mode, charged in hours according to the actual usage time.
  • Yearly and monthly: Prepaid mode, charged according to the duration of purchase.
For more information, please refer to product billing.
Instance
  • The platform provides a variety of different instance types. Please choose the appropriate instance specifications according to your needs
  • There may be differences in the specifications of instances supported for sale in different regions or available areas.
For more information, please refer to Instance Specification List.
Mirror
  • According to the different needs of users, the platform provides public mirrors and custom mirrors to choose from.
For more information, please refer to mirror.
System disk
  • is used to install the operating system, and the default is 100GB.
  • Different regions will affect the types of cloud hard disk you can choose from. Please choose according to the actual page prompts.
For more information, please refer to cloud disk.
Data disk
  • It is used to expand the storage capacity of cloud servers and provide efficient and reliable storage devices.
  • The cloud disk disk is not added by default, and a maximum of 10 pieces can be added.
For more information, please refer to cloud disk.
Network
  • Private networks provide private network isolation functions for your cloud environment. Different private networks do not communicate with private networks.
  • Private networks contain at least one subnet, and the system provides default private networks and subnets in each region.
For more information, please refer to Network.
Public network IP billing mode
  • Traffic billing: Multiple users share a certain total bandwidth resources, which may not reach the predetermined bandwidth when used. The hourly fee is deducted according to the usage of traffic (in GB), and it is necessary to ensure that the balance is sufficient, which is suitable for scenarios with small traffic and large fluctuations.
  • Shared bandwidth: Multiple users share a certain total bandwidth resource, which may not reach the predetermined bandwidth. It is charged at a fixed unit price, which is suitable for scenarios with large traffic and not particularly strict network requirements.
  • Independently according to bandwidth: Users allocate fixed bandwidth resources separately, which can ensure stable supply regardless of the peak or low of the network. It is billed according to the unit price of fixed bandwidth value, which is suitable for scenarios with large traffic and not particularly strict requirements for the network.
Bandwidth value (peak)
  • Depending on the billing mode, the upper limit of the public network bandwidth of the cloud server can be set on demand.
Security Group
  • If you don't have an available security group, you can select to create a new security group.
  • If you already have a available security group, you can select Already have a security group.
  • A single instance resource supports up to 4 security groups associated.
For more information, please refer to security group.
Instance name The name of the cloud server instance. By default, the instance name is automatically generated based on the product name, and you can modify it by yourself.
  • Customization: User customization, indicating the name of the cloud server that needs to be created.
  • Automatic generation: If it is not modified, the system will generate it automatically. Multiple instances, the instance name is self-increased on this basis.
Login management Set the way users log in to the cloud server, please set it according to the actual needs.
  • Set password: Customize the password of the login instance.
  • Link the key immediately: Link the SSH key, and you can log in to the cloud server more securely through the SSH key method.
For more information, please refer to login instance.
Quantity The number of instances to be purchased this time.
Duration Only for annual and monthly cloud servers, indicating the duration of use of the cloud server.
  1. After the setup is finished, click "Next: Confirm Order".
  2. Go to the Cloud Server Confirmation Order page and check the information of the purchased Cloud Server, understand the details of each configuration, and view the billing details.
    • • Quantity: The number of instances to be purchased this time.
      • Purchase Duration: Only instances that are billed annually or monthly need to select the purchase duration. Instances that are billed based on usage do not have this option.
      • Auto-renewal: Only instances that are billed annually or monthly can be set. After selecting this option, if the account balance is sufficient, the device will automatically renew monthly when it expires, avoiding the need for manual renewal.
